Located just a 40 minute drive south of La Paz on the Sea of
Cortez in Baja Mexico, Baja Joe's has the most consistent wind in all of Baja. The secret
lies in the steep mountains behind the La Ventana Bay and Isla Cerralvo in front of it,
which creates a natural wind tunnel. The windsurfing season usually runs November thru March. |

can bring your own windsurf equipment or rent ours. Baja Joe's has
windsurfing boards and sails
to fit every skill level and all conditions. Windsurfing
equipment rental is $25 an hour or $40 per day.

 The wind is
quite consistent. Typical days see the wind pickup around 11:00am and
windsurfing continuing until just before sunset.

 Sail sizes for an average
windsurfer are usually 4.2 to 6.0
with a few windier days and a few alternate activity days. |

 Alternate activities include mountain biking, swimming,
hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, shell collecting, or just relaxing. |
